Trip to Tibouron

We were planning to visit Sausalito, but it was cold and foggy when we got there (what's new? it's the Bay area). So, we continued to drive to Tibouron. Luckily, the sun peeked out and we had a nice walk along the bay. We have to make this trip again, so Nathan can actually have a picture with Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

Getting Too Big for This

7 1/2 months
1 1/2 months
We love this changing area in our family room, save us many trips going upstairs. But I think it's time to take it down. He's getting way too big and dangerous for this.

Showing Mama Love

Nathan is an affectionate boy. He loves grabbing my arms tightly and hugs me. He started doing this when he was 4 1/2 months old. I'm glad Chris was able to catch it on film.

Happy Birthday Grandpa

We celebrated Grandpa Chan's birthday with a BBQ in our house. When it's time to cut the cake, Nathan wanted a piece of it.

See My 2 New Teeth

We finally got him to show his two new teeth in these 2 pictures. They are razor sharp! He sure knows how to use them to bite us back since Chris and I have been biting him. (we can't help it ;-)

My Sexy Photos

Nathan rolls over so fast these days, and it's very difficult to get him dressed. I thought I take the opportunity to get a couple of sexy pictures of him. Hope he doesn't mind I posted them on the blog:-)

Enough already

Nathan and I are really having a lot of fun these days. He has so many new expressions like this one on the picture. He gave me this look because I asked him to look at the camera for too long. Can't believe this is from a 7-month old.

Nice photo by Uncle Brian

Uncle Brian took this great picture. I actually wanted Brian to take a picture of Nathan's 2 new teeth, but we just can't get him to laugh hard enough to show his teeth. The 1st one came out on April 9 and the 2nd one just popped up this morning.

I'm 7 Months Old

Nathan is playing with one of his favorite toys - Baby Tad. He had this since he was a few weeks old. He loves listening to the nursery songs and the lullabies put him to sleep. Thanks to Auntie Joann for this wonderful gift.
Do you notice he is sitting in this picture? Yeah!!! This was a HUGE accomplishment because Nathan never likes to sit. During our 6-month check up, our pediatrician told me that I need to encourage him to sit at least a couple of times a day. After a few weeks of practice, he is finally sitting before his 7-month birthday. (The official date that he can sit unsupported was 4/12) Mama is definitely a happy camper!

Dim Sum with Nathan's playgroup

Love this picture of the daddies with their babies.
From left to right, Nicholas, Nathan, Zoe and Talitha. They all behaved so well in the restaurant. Mommies and daddies were able to chat and enjoy dim sum leisurely.

Posting for the camera

Nathan started to like the camera more these days. He actually will look at the camera when I take pictures for me (most of the times). Doesn't he look like he's posting for me? I think I can take him to Uncle Brian's studio to take some nice photos soon.

My Hard Drive Crashed

Well, if you are wondering, I haven't been slacking of. My hard drive crashed on Easter Sunday. I can't even use words to describe how depressed and devastated I was because I haven't backed up a lot of Nathan's & CoCo's pictures. I have been meaning to do it, just haven't got around to it. It's a very expensive lesson to learn. I am not sure if the data recovery company can retrieve any data since Chris had opened the hard drive and tried to fix it. I cried for a couple of days and was so mad at myself and Chris. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope that all the pictures will still be there. Stay tuned.

One of Papa's favorite pictures

Chris took this picture for Nathan and of course, papa wants me to post that on the blog. I love his little hands and fingers. He likes to twist his hand around whenever he is playing on the floor, so cute...

Just got over his 1st cold

Nathan had his 1st cold and 1st ear infection about a week ago. He had really bad diarrhea from the antibiotics. This poor guy had the worst diaper rash since he was born. Despite all these discomforts, he was still in good spirits and was very playful. Glad that it was all over. Chris and I have to make sure we are keeping ourselves healthy because I think one of us probably got him sick. (I'm blaming it on Chris:-))
Nathan has been rolling all over the floor since last week. Although he is not crawling yet, he sure knows how to get to where he wants. Well, this morning I found him rolled over even in his crib. I think we need to start baby proofing real soon.

Enjoying a good book

I started reading to Nathan since he was almost 4 months, but he didn't show much interest. Finally about a month ago, he started to enjoy it more and more. Maybe he likes the pictures and his little fingers can flip the pages and hold the book really well now. From the picture above, you can tell he's reading it from cover to cover. By the way, thanks to Karina and Christopher, Nathan got a bunch of books from their old collection. The one that he's reading - Baby Elmo is also one of them.

Today is a special day because a year ago today was the date we announced to my family the BIG news - Baby Chan is in the making. It seems like it was yesterday.
