It was a very special day today. Besides celebrating my 1st Mother's Day, I took Nathan to Church with me (just the two of us). He was such a good boy during the entire mass. He didn't sleep or fuss. He actually wanted me to turn his stroller facing the altar, like he knew what the priest was saying. He also enjoyed the choir very much. I was amazed that he was so patient for one full hour.
We went for a walk after Church. 
Nathan has been trying to get out of his crib these days. He figured out how to pull down the bumper and look for me when he wakes up. He still cannot pull himself up yet, but I think the day may come soon. We probably have to lower his crib in the next few weeks.
It was a goreous day in the Bay Area. We took Nathan for a walk in Crystal Spring.
Nathan's hair is getting long and growing up :-) It looks pretty funky, but I love it. This picture also captures his really cute smile. It's one of my recent favorites.
My old colleague Theresa invited us to her daughter, Haley's 1st birthday party in the park.

We joined Uncle Brian, Aunt Linda and Jonathan for a trip to the SF Zoo. I think Nathan is still a little too young to enjoy all the animals, but the giraffes, zebras and flamingos did get his attention.
